Don’t miss out on being part of
a BIG celebration

It all began on 28 December 2021, wait actually let’s rewind a bit to October 2021. That’s when it actually began with Rufaro sending a message to Ruvimbo on Twitter.

Crazy enough, Rufaro was a bit unconventional in his approach as he actually left the ball in Ruvimbo’s court for her to message him on WhatsApp.

Yea normally it’s the guy who asks for the number but hey why not leave your number instead. Well maybe because you could go 2 weeks without receiving the message you’re expecting.

After a quick followup from Rufaro, Ruvimbo did then message him and both their lives changed from that day.

We mentioned that date at the start of our story and it’s an important date to us, for a couple of reasons.

1st Date

While we had stolen glimpses of each other days prior to this, this was the 1st time that we spent dedicated time with each other.

What is time

It was the first time that we realised that we enjoyed each other’s company so much that we lost track of time.

Love in Air

She said yes and our relationship officially started, marking our first commitment to each other.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words so click the slideshow below to see some of our favourite moments in our story so far.

Okay that was a lot. There are 2 important milestone to note:

On their 3 year anniversary, Rufaro popped the big question of a lifetime to Ruvimbo. And as you might guess Ruvimbo just as much wanted to spend the rest of her life with Rufaro.

This is the day that we had our traditional wedding. For context, the traditional wedding called Roora involves the groom going to the bride’s family with his close friends and family for a formal relationship to be established between the two families.

That relationship is first established with the token of appreciation which the groom gives to the family.

We have a lovely video of the highlights from the day which you can watch below:

All this has led us to having a party to celebrate our love on 28 June 2026 and we’d love to have you there.

Our celebration will be held at Pabani venue in Harare. We have a limited capacity so please RSVP by 28 March 2026. Failure to RSVP is automatically declining the invitation.

The dress code is formal black tie in our colours:

Although we love your little ones, this wedding is strictly an adults only event

Find the venue easily using the location below.

Thank you

If you’re coming, we’re looking forward to celebrating our big day with you !! Otherwise you’ll be dearly missed.
